Born a fool
I never changed
thought the world
asked me to
Born a mule
always torn
my house was
drenched in
blue
Golden abyss called
me home
and blindly
there I
went
and while I fell and
broke my bones
this abyss seemed
god-sent
For as I looked
into the
sky
It suddenly
occured to me
that no matter
where I die
its those
stars
that I'll see
So I got up
and tried
again
brought myself
to care
to face what had
held me down
and fight it
fair and square
Born a mule
a
black sheep
there's nowhere
I
belong
but that just means
I'm free to be
whoever I want
to become.
