The sputtering noises
from the
battlefield
I leave, I leave
behind.
Haunt me down and my
naïve dreams
about being
kind

Helping others and
make them
smile
all washed away with
my own bitter tears
I'm scared of, 
oh lord
I'm scarred by
my screaming
fears

My pure
heart my
ability
to nullify your evil
monstrosity
everyones but mine.

My wish to purify
all of our
souls
albeit we all
are doomed anyway
when the night falls.
And oh, how it fell.

And while I'm
still scared and useless so
for all I can is take
I hope one day
death will greet me
for someone else sake.
