Confessing

I stressed
over love
and I thought
it is my duty
to confess
on the spot

But I think
isn't it
the greatest
gift of all
to be comfortable
on my own?
Not hearing
love's call
or hearing
but not have
the need to act
upon it

Isn't it
a blessing?
So why,
I ask myself
am I stressing?

It's okay
to stay alone
to try and make
myself
my own
home.
